When you request an SSL we generate an CSR (certificate signing request) from the server where your website is hosted. We send that request to the SSL company and they send us back the certificate (big long string of numbers and letters) which gets loaded back on the web server.
You can check the install by going to the secure version of your name - https://www.yourdomain.com.
Once your SSL has been installed, you need to make a change to your fbx_config.cfm file (root file). Around line 36 you'll see
<cfparam name="Request.SecureURL" default="https://www.NucomWebHosting.com/">
You need to make sure it has 'https' and 'www' as the SSL only works for the 'www' subdomain of your domain.
